Pumfrey, who became a High Court judge at the age of 46, made a significant contribution to the IP sector over the years.
His untimely death occurred just three days after handing down judgment on the complex dispute between Nokia and Interdigital and just a month after he was elevated from the High Court to the Court of Appeal.
Pumfrey LJ's funeral will be held in Temple Church on Monday 14 January at 4.30pm.
