Nottingham Trent launches diversity friendly degree

Nottingham Trent University’s Law School is to open its first law foundation degree in September.

The aim of the course, run in conjunction with New College Nottingham (NCN), is to encourage students from non-traditional educational backgrounds to study law for two years at NCN. If successful, the school will give the students the option to enter directly the second year LLB degree at Nottingham Trent.

The two-year course will cover all first-year law subjects currently undertaken at Nottingham Trent in addition to modules of a wider nature such as research, communication skills and ethics.

New College Nottingham expects between 20-25 students to enter the course this year.
