Norton Rose's 400 lawyers are waiting with bated breath to find out where they will be sitting when the firm moves into its new office next month.
The firm will spread its staff over four floors, with each level representing one of Norton Rose's headline practices - energy and infrastructure, technology, financial institutions and transport.
However, international corporate finance, has not been deemed important enough to be given it its own floor and is being tacked on the end of another floor.
Meanwhile, the litigation team is being split up into practice areas so that the litigators can sit with their transactional counterparts.
One litigation partner says: "It makes total sense. At the moment I spend most of my day going to and fro between my office and where my actual colleagues work, often resulting in me getting soaked when it rains."
