Norton Rose promotes 15 to global partnership
Norton Rose has made up 15 new partners, representing its highest level of promotions since 2008.

Of the new partners, seven are currently senior associates, seven are of counsel and one is special counsel.
Geographically, the Asia Pacific region has received the greatest share of new partners at five. Of those, two are based in Canberra with one each in Shanghai, Singapore and Sydney.
London has received four new partners with one each in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Amsterdam, Athens, Munich and Paris.
In terms of practice areas, the banking group has received six of the new partners while four have joined the corporate finance partnership and three have joined dispute resolution. There has been one real estate promotion and one in occupational health and safety.
In a statement group chief executive Peter Martyr said: “The geographical spread and number of promotions reflect the continued enlargement of the group’s practice internationally. We’re particularly delighted that seven of the promotions are women.”
Last year the firm welcomed 11 to its partnership (21 April 2010), having made up 12 in 2009 and 16 in 2008.
