Norton rose in $200m samena fund launch

The finance team at Norton Rose has scored the lead role advising Samena Capital on the launch of its $200m (£108.25m) Special Situations Fund.

The fund is based in the Cayman Islands and is structured as a limited partnership. It will focus on the opportunities ­created by privatisation, ­liberalisation and restructuring.

The team was led by Norton Rose ­corporate finance partner Cathy Pitt and associate Tim Page, together with Ed Brogan. Maples & Calder provided ­Cayman law advice.
