Norton Rose hires two for Frankfurt

Last week, corporate finance partner Erich Michel joined from White & Case Feddersen and banking and capital markets partner Rüdiger Litten joined from Linklaters Oppenhoff & Rädler.
Michel handles international M&A, privatisation and equity capital markets, particularly within the IT and telecoms sector. He was responsible for setting up White & Case's Frankfurt office.
Litten advises German and foreign banks in connection with structured products and derivatives.
The moves come at the end of a string of lateral hires following the firm's merger with the Cologne office of Gaedertz earlier this year.
In June, banking regulatory expert Frank Herring and a team of associates joined the firm from Linklaters.
And in July, Norton Rose took on a corporate team in Munich and a tax partner in Frankfurt.
Herring said: “The recruitment of Michel and Litten is part of our overall strategy which is to grow our corporate finance, banking and capital markets practice in Frankfurt.”
