Norton Rose bags Freshfields green adviser" class="inline_image inline_image_left" src="/pictures/web/images/13679_P5_nortonrose.jpg" />Norton Rose has poached Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer associate Giedre Kaminskaite-Salters to head the firm’s regulatory and policy practice on climate and clean energy.
Kaminskaite-Salters, who joins as a senior adviser, has spent the last year on secondment at the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (BERR).
Norton Rose climate change and carbon finance chief Anthony Hobley said Kaminskaite-Salters coming on board will complement the current practice and give it a more focused regulatory dimension as clients look for advice in relation to the impact on new policies such as the international climate change negotiations for the post-2012 period.
