Norr Stiefenhofer targets Slovakia for office opening

Germany’s Norr Stiefenhofer Lutz is widening its Central and Eastern European (CEE) spread by opening a Bratislava base.

The office in new EU member state Slovakia’s capital is the firm’s sixth in CEE and has been set up to take advantage of the region’s increasing draw for outside investment due to favourable labour costs and tax rates.

The head of Norr Stiefenhofer Lutz’s Prague office, Jaroslav Melzer will head up the new base with assistance from lawyer Zuzana Spanikova.

There will be three lawyers resident in the office from October onwards and will increase to six professionals over the coming 18 months.
