It is about time that the repressive measures undertaken by the Bar Council that prohibit thousands of called barristers from practicing should be put to an end. The pupillage scheme, as it stands, is unfair and lacks all credibility whatsoever. A reform is well overdue and I’ll add, the pupillage serves no useful purpose to the consumer in particular.
