German firm Noerr’s London co-head has been promoted into the equity along with six others as part of the firm’s annual promotions.
Twelve lawyers in total profited from Noerr’s partner promotions, with five lawyers made up to salary partner on top of the seven that were invited into the equity.
Thomas Heitzer has been co-head of London since the firm launched in the City last October (11 March 2010).
Also made up to the equity were Munich-based corporate lawyer Florian Becker and real estate specialist Marco Winterer; Frankfurt-based head of energy Christof Federwisch and tax advisor Oliver Trautmann; and Berlin-based Sascha Leske, a corporate lawyer and a tax advisor.
The firm’s new Moscow head Björn Paulsen also became an equity partner while Moscow corporate and real estate lawyer Thomas Mundry was promoted to salary partner.
The remaining salary partner promotions were: banking, insolvency and competition lawyer Jacek Bąk in Warsaw; insurance specialist Helmut Katschthaler and corporate lawyer Sabine Klett in Munich; and banking lawyer Wolf Stumpf in Frankfurt.
Noerr now has 101 partners; 76 equity and 25 salary. There are also 69 associated partners.
