No mud slung from this end

Your headline last week "Law Society rivals sling mud..." (The Lawyer, 7 June) is grossly in error on one very important point.

Bob Sayer sadly did sling mud, but I did not, and have no intention of doing so. That is a critical difference between us.

At least those who do not know him are now aware of his behaviour, and will better understand why I, and many others, consider him unsuitable to be president.
