Nixon Peabody has elected seven lawyers to its partnership with the group due to take up their new positions on 1 February.
Nixon Peabody has around 800 lawyers across the US and in London, Paris and Shanghai. The promotions affect five of its US offices.
The firm has recently embarked upon an aggressive international expansion plan, snaring more than 60 lawyers from dissolved firm Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner and around 25 lawyers from the Paris office of Taylor Wessing.
The newly elected partners are based in the firm's Long Island, Los Angeles, Rochester, San Francisco and Washington DC offices and represent Nixon Peabody's four core departments of business, namely intellectual property, litigation and real estate.
Nixon Peabody's chief executive and managing partner Richard Langan congratulated the seven lawyers on their promotion to the partnership.
