Nicola Davies QC becomes High Court judge

Nicola Davies

Having been called to the bar in 1976, Davies joined 3 ­Serjeants’ Inn, where she went on to build a successful practice in medical law. She became a QC in 1992.

She sat as a recorder from 1998 before being appointed a deputy High Court udge in 2003. As a barrister she was involved in several high-profile court cases, including appearing for the defence in the trials of Harold Shipman and ­paediatrician Sir Roy Meadow.
