Head of property at Nicholson Graham & Jones Richard Smith (right) is stepping down after 13 years to return to fee-earning
Partner Piers Coleman is succeeding him as head of department as of 8 April. Smith joined the firm in 1983 as one of two partners who jointly headed the property department. From 1989, Smith ran it alone. The firm gained property partners from Breachers in 1996 and now has 11. Smith combined his role with fee-earning, but will now concentrate on fee-earning alone.
