South West firm Temple Bright has secured an inaugural instruction for its London office, advising on the acquisition of web developer Red C by brand agency FM Group.
The London office was opened earlier this year in March 2013 and marked Temple Bright’s first expansion outside of its Bristol headquarters. The Shoreditch office currently has four partners, with a Taylor Wessing senior associate soon joining as a fifth partner. The hire will bring Temple Bright’s total tally partner across both its Bristol and London offices to 20 by the end of the year.
The deal will give FM Group greater control of its projects such as its app developments. The deal value remains undisclosed.
Co-founder Tim Summers said: “After six months on the ground in Shoreditch, Temple Bright is bedding in as part of the area’s vibrant business community, and this deal points the way ahead for us.”
Fellow partner Justin Mcllhinney added: “We chose Shoreditch because of the growing tech start-up population and the general creative ethos of the area.”
