French firm Lefèvre Pelletier & Associés is expanding its German presence through the launch of a Munich office and the hire of a sixth partner in Frankfurt.
The Munich launch sees the bolt-on of local firm fkstpartners, with all four lawyers joining as partners. The team includes banking and finance lawyer Andreas Feuerstein, M&A and tax specialist Bernd Spieth, corporate real estate and renewable energy lawyer Oliver Kirfel and real estate and commercial lawyer Fabian Tross.
The launch follows the opening of a Frankfurt office for Lefèvre Pelletier in 2011 (14 March 2011) and expansion last year through an additional partner hire and the signing of a partnership agreement with local boutique Lachner Graf von Westphalen Spamer (12 December 2012).
Lefèvre Pelletier has also turned to SJ Berwin for the hire of a sixth partner for Frankfurt, picking up real estate lawyer Oliver Hübner. Hübner was previously a senior associate at the UK firm.
Over the past year, Lefèvre Pelletier has also been expanding into other jurisdictions, teaming up with local firms for alliances in Brazil (1 October 2012) and China (26 September 2012).
Meanwhile in France the firm has recruited tax lawyer Evelyne Bagdassarian as a partner. Bagdassarian was previously a local partner at Baker & McKenzie, having worked for Gide Loyrette Nouel and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton prior to joining the US firm in 2011.
