Field Fisher Waterhouse (FFW) has strengthened its Paris IP team with the hire of Winston & Strawn partner Nathalie Hadjadj-Cazier.
Hadjadj-Cazier began work at FFW last week (2 September). She specialises in the registration and defence of IP rights, with a particular focus on contentious work in a broad range of sectors.
She spent six years at Winston & Strawn, having joined the firm from DS Avocats in 2007.
FFW managing partner Michael Chissick said the appointment followed a “fantastic” year for the Paris office, which beat its budget.
Hadjadj-Cazier is the fourteenth partner for FFW in Paris. The firm launched in the French capital in 2007 through the hire of seven partners from former ally Dubarry (31 October 2007), restructuring the office two years later (25 May 2009).
