Deutsche Bank is hiring Linklaters partner Florian Drinhausen as co-deputy general counsel for Germany and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Drinhausen will join the bank on 1 February 2014, after a decade as a partner at the magic circle firm.
He will report to German and CEE general counsel Christof von Dryander, who was hired from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton last year (31 August 2012), and work alongside the incumbent co-deputy general counsel Mathias Otto. Otto served as acting general counsel for Deutsche Bank in the region following the departure of Arne Wittig for Thyssen Krupp (5 July 2012).
Drinhausen has specialised in corporate advice to the telecoms, media and technology sectors during his time at Linklaters.
He will be based at Deutsche Bank’s Frankfurt office.
