Norwegian firm Wikborg Rein’s five-year formal law alliance (FLA) with boutique Singaporean firm Pan Asia has come to an end. The two firms have bucked a wider trend by withdrawing from the relationship, a move believed to have been triggered by “divergent views and interests”.
Many more international firms are moving into Singapore using a FLA structure, most recently Stephenson Harwood embarked on a relationship with local firm Virtus Law.
