RPC has raided Ince & Co for its Asia insurance and reinsurance group head Iain Anderson.
Anderson will join RPC in Singapore, where he has been based since 2010.
He is the second partner to join RPC in Singapore. The firm opened a base in Singapore in November 2011 following the hire of legacy Barlow Lyde & Gilbert (BLG) insurance and reinsurance partner Mark Errington (27 October 2011).
Anderson trained with Ince & Co and was promoted to the partnership in 2007. He has a particular focus on contentious insurance and reinsurance work, in particular in the field of marine insurance.
Last year, the firm opened a second Asia office in Hong Kong with a 40-member team led by five partners, four of whom joined from Clyde & Co (2 July 2012).
In May, Ince & Co expanded in Singapore through the hire of former DLA Piper managing partner and Asia projects head Martin David who was bought in to lead the Asia energy practice (9 May 2013).
