In Sydney, employment partner Christa Lenard joins from Clayton Utz and tax partner Betsy-Ann Howe joins from Sparke Helmore. In Melbourne, the firm has hired tax partner Alan Maclean from HWL Ebsworth.
K&L Gates entered into Australia through the merger with Australian firm Middletons, which went live on 1 January 2013 (4 December 2012). Since then, the firm has added 11 partners in Australia, including the latest five.
