  • Just once I'd like to see someone announcing that, rather than vigorously contesting a claim, they will on this occasion be contesting it casually as time permits, in a lazy and sloth-like manner.

    There are so many defendants being vigorous that I cannot help but think this would restore some needed balance.

  • When people say they will vigorously defend a case it often means they do not have a leg to stand on!

  • Of course KN will want to "vigorously" defend the case but it's entirely up to the decision of their insurer (strangely not mentioned in this article). Insurers love to settle.
