Commenting on her appoinment, she said she was looking forward to developing Clyde & Co’s global disputes offering and strengthening its sector focus in the intellectual property and data and privacy fields.
Clyde & Co posted a 17 per cent rise in turnover from £287m to £336.6m at the end of the 2012/13 financial year, with average PEP rising by just over 5 per cent to £580,000, slightly above the £550,000 predicted by chief executive Peter Hasson last year (11 June 2013).
Clydes recently announced that it had been given regulatory approval to open an office in Beijing where corporate partner Lynia Lau will be the chief representative. The new office will have a primary focus on outbound investment in the natural resources, energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as asset and project finance and dispute resultion (7 May 2013).
In April the firm announced it would expand its international footprint with the launch of a base in Madrid after raiding DAC Beachcroft for a team of nine lawyers, including four partners (16 April 2013).
