Swiss employment boutique Schmid Heinzen Humbert Lerch (SHHL) has become the sixteenth firm to join international labour law network L&E Global.
The Zurich-based six-lawyer firm is joining a group of member firms from across the world, with a combined workforce of 1,200 lawyers specialising in employment law.
The news comes three years after L&E’s foundation (24 January 2011). The network now has members in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland and the US.
Executive director Stephan Swinkels said Switzerland was an increasingly important jurisdiction for employment law and SHHL was “a perfect example of a boutique firm that is quickly establishing itself as a go-to player”.
SHHL partner André Lerch said the firm was “very excited” by joining the alliance. “Considering how important the Swiss market is to the global economy, we anticipate a very active and integral role in the alliance on behalf of our international clients,” he added.
