  • Good hire for DLA, but whither SJB's once mighty corporate team. Get out while you can.

If I cared, it would be sad. Frankly, I don't, and I'm not sure many do.

  • Duke Street have dwindled over recent years - not sure what their activity rates are like (or deal values). Who are his other clients?

  • Nice guy. DLA is an odd destination for a leading PE partner. Says as much about the need to leave legacy SJ Berwin in a hurry.

  • I'm sorry but no "top" partner goes to DLA.

  • Anon @ 4:57am - no "top" or even "above average" partner or associate stays at SJB.

  • Tim is great and is better off out of there. He was never accepted by the other partners in that team, who have a weird allergy to lateral hires at partner level (same happened to Harris). He will flourish outside of SJB.
