  • Someone's three year guarantee was clearly up.

Good lawyer, but the time at Weil was not a total success. Does he have clients of his own?

  • The Weil London revolving door continues to spin...

  • What a surprise . . . not.

Guarantee was up and he's after the next pay day. How can he keep getting away with this?

  • Am sure the fact the move to K&E coincides with a 3 year stay at Weil and his pay guarantee expiring is entirely coincidental: anyone willing to place their mortgage on SL being a long term stay at K&E?

same old storey......however, partners who have no loyalty except to their own bank account will keep getting away with it for so long as the next firm is willing to pay up.

  • Another banking lawyer sold on promises of institutional portables…Nothing new here.

  • Maybe Weil didn't buy him a Bugatti for his birthday?

  • In fairness to Stephen Lucas, I was on something opposite him when he was at Linklaters and he was a superb lawyer - both technically (he has a PhD) and commerically. The partner I was working for at my firm told me to learn from him.

  • I'm sure he is already plotting his next move in 3 years time. My money is on White & Case!

  • Since when has having a PhD made anyone a good lawyer? Sounds like the sort of thing only the man himself would write!
