  • You state:
“Lawyers are the hardest workers, the survey said, clocking up 45.9 hours per week, compared with office workers who apparently cruise through a comparably poor 44.6 hours at their desk.”
Any room in the “recruitment” “specialist’s” “survey” for a say by even 1000 “clients” whose cases were handled by the lawyers featured in the overhyped PR?
What did they do during the 44.6 hours at their desks?
How many clients did they at last recognise as being human, intelligent and right?
How many of the hours were merely to create the ground of the charges?

  • You should see the average of US lawyers. They are really working machines.

  • Don't underestimate the underlying allure of the chargeable hours based bonus schemes on offer to most City lawyers. A chunk of money each year makes the desk a whole lot more tolerable.
