  • How on earth does cutting resources available to fee-earners make those fee-earners more "cost-effective and cost-efficient?" What does that mean, actually? Does it mean, we're going to have our fee-earners do more of their own document production, so that we can charge that cost back to the clients? Wouldn't it be more honest to say, we've had to look at areas where we can cut costs because our revenue isn't increasing in line with expectations based on the number of lateral hires we have made, so our profits have taken a tumble?
