DLA Piper has cut 69 staff from its document production team as part of an on-going review of the business.
The firm announced a root and branch review of its business in the summer of 2012 (1 June 2012) shortly after former Linklaters managing partner Tony Angel joined DLA Piper as senior partner (26 October 2011).
The latest consultation affected 116 of the document production team, which was spread across all the firm’s UK offices but has now been almost entirely moved to Leeds, with the addition of two satellite staff in each regional office and four in London.
As well as the 69 redundancies, five staff resigned and 42 were retained, five of which transferred to join the 23-strong team based in Leeds.
