US litigators just love London, England. First Quinn Emanuel launched here, then Kobre & Kim, and now Boies Schiller & Flexner.
For as The Lawyer reveals today, Boies Schiller has finally announced its mystery-shrouded managing partner hire; it’s Natasha Harrison, formerly of Bingham McCutchen. We spotted Harrison back in our Hot 100 of 2011, when her big mandates included the restructuring of conglomerate Elektrim and the fallout from the Icelandic Bank collapse.
With increasing numbers of litigators getting frustrated at being conflicted out of mandates, US firms and litigation boutiques such as Hage Aaronson - which has now set up a referral relationship with New York outfit Gregory Joseph - Cooke Young & Keidan and Enyo Law are finding a ready pool of recruits.
In the meantime, Bingham might be on the look-out to replenish its own litigation stock.
