LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR: POLAND
The Warsaw office of Baltic and Nordic firm Magnusson is its second largest and its development bagged it the Polish Law Firm of the Year award.
Although not yet a major player in the Warsaw market, the firm is growing steadily in Poland – particularly in real estate, where revenue rose by 30 per cent between June 2012 and June 2013 – and a number of new clients have been won. Magnusson is working alongside major international players in the Polish market and the Warsaw office is heavily involved in cross-selling across the firm’s network of offices.
Warsaw lawyers play a key role in the firm’s development, with the management committee chaired by Polish managing partner Andrzej Tokaj and key operational functions such as marketing also based in the city.
Judges liked Magnusson’s drive and vision for Poland and its determination to grow into an international player.
