Redlink gives home to duo of Nixon Peabody Paris partners

Corporate partner Emmanuelle Porte and tax partner Jean-Sébastien Dumont are joining Redlink along with corporate of counsel Sylvie Hamel.

The move follows Nixon Peabody’s decision to close Paris late last year (18 December 2012).

Redlink was founded in 2008 by a team of eight lawyers, mainly from Deprez Dian Guignot Avocats (16 January 2008). The firm focuses on corporate law with a particular focus on IP, IT and media companies.

Porte said her decision to join Redlink was prompted by the firm’s “flexible, reactive and innovative” structure as well as the similiarity of the team’s backgrounds.

The duo are the latest Nixon Peabody partners to find a new home. Earlier this month Stephenson Harwood said it was hiring public law partner Olivier de Chazeaux (13 February 2013) and Simmons & Simmons picked up private equity specialist Noro-Lanto Ravisy (19 February 2013).
