Swedish firm Magnusson has completed its coverage of the Baltic region with the launch of an office in Lithuania, bringing on board local firm Nordia Baublys.
The firm has picked up a four-partner, 20-strong team from Nordia Baublys with offices in the country’s capital Vilnius as well as its second-largest city Kaunas.
Nordia Baublys managing partner Ligita Ramanauskaitė becomes the managing partner of Magnusson in Lithuania.
The launch follows Magnusson’s earlier office openings in the Baltic states of Estonia (28 March 2012) and Latvia (4 October 2012). The firm has also been expanding elsewhere in the Nordic region, with growth in Denmark (19 February 2013), Norway (16 August 2012) and Sweden (9 January 2012) as well as a Berlin launch (5 February 2013) in the last year.
The Lithuania office are set to be operational later in the spring and the firm said it will be full-service.
Senior partner Per Magnusson said the firm had pledged to offer integrated legal services across the Baltic Sea region and the Lithuania launch “crowns our pan-regional expansion”.
