Krogerus advises on the reorganisation of Handelsbanken's life insurance business
Krogerus has acted has lead counsel in the reorganisation of Handelsbanken’s Nordic life insurance business.
The reorganisation included a cross-border merger of regulated insurance companies in Denmark and Finland, as well as the incorporation of a new Finnish life insurance company.
The Krogerus team was led by partner Mårten Knuts and counsel Sami Martola. The tax structuring was led by partner Antti Lehtimaja. They were assisted by senior associate Jan Johansson and associate Johanna Ahlström.
