Shoosmiths insolvency specialist helps save jobs at online footwear retailer Cloggs
Charles Williams, senior associate and restructuring and insolvency specialist at Shoosmiths, has helped Cloggs (UK) save jobs by advising administrators brought in to dispose of the online footwear retailer’s business and assets.
Williams worked with Begbies Traynor to help protect a significant number of jobs at the independent retailer, which has one high-street outlet in Birmingham’s Bull Ring shopping centre.
Cloggs has been bought by JD Sports for an undisclosed sum.
Those keeping their jobs include the current Cloggs management team.
