Alison Dennis (scroll down for video interview) has substantially grown both her own client base and the life sciences practice at Field Fisher Waterhouse since she joined the firm from Reed Smith just four years ago.
In 2011, she successfully completed one of the largest European drug licensing deals in just two weeks - a seemingly impossible deadline for such a major transaction. Although much of her work remains confidential, the past 12 months has seen Dennis work on major anti-bribery and compliance programmes as well as working closely with the firm’s data privacy practice on binding corporate rules. She has also continued to advise on intellectual property transactional matters, undertaking sizeable transactions in both the medical device and the pharmaceutical industry.
A recognised expert in the laws that challenge the business operations of medical device companies, Dennis’s life science and healthcare sector group now boasts more than 60 members.
