Shoosmiths has appointed business dispute expert Kath Livingston as partner

Shoosmiths has appointed Kath Livingston as a partner in a move that adds commercial litigation experience to its Manchester office.

Livingston, who has more than 19 years’ experience advising clients in a range of business disputes, joins Shoosmiths from Eversheds.

She has particular knowledge of online defamation and reputation management, especially in social media, but also in print.

She has advised clients on reputation/brand protection strategies, their dealings with the media, trade libel, internet defamation, and website shutdowns.
