New Hungary guide

Cameron McKenna has published what is believed to be the first guide to the new corporate legislation in Hungary, which will come into force this summer. Its Hungarian Update details the changes which are aimed at protecting creditors and minimising uncertainty in the existing company law. Stephen Forster, senior partner at Cameron McKenna's Budapest office, said: "The new Companies Act is not just an amending or tidying up piece of legislation. It is a completely new replacement Act. It makes fundamental changes to companies law which will have an impact on every company doing business in Hungary."
