New faces in marketing

FOUR leading law firms have re-shuffled their marketing departments after a series of departures.

Clifford Chance media relations' manager Carolyn Griffiths leaves this week after four years at the firm to train as a barrister.

She read law at university and says her ambition was always to practice. She will not be immediately replaced.

Linklaters & Paines has promoted Conor Boden to the post of head of marketing from marketing manager. He replaces Adam Quarrie, who is to join 3i Investors in Industry as director of marketing.

Press relations manager Caroline Lewis has left Denton Hall to follow employment prospects in Adelaide, South Australia. She will be replaced by autumn.

Leeds firm Booth & Co has replaced head of marketing Cathy Hale with Rachel Culver. Two juniors have also been taken on.

Rachel Gilbey joins from industry and Judith Showman comes from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain of Holborn, London. Hale has gone to Sydney, Australia, to work for a firm of accountants.
