New director at Taylor Wessing prompts reshuffle

Taylor Wessing has appointed Keith Barnett as its new business group director.

He will take on one of the firm’s three business group director roles, replacing Rodney Dukes.

Barnett will lead a group encompassing real estate, finance, insolvency, construction, environment and planning. In his new role, he will sit on the UK management board.

Dukes had held the position since Taylor Wessing’s current management structure was formed in 2008. He will continue as head of the finance practice.

Barnett has been head of real estate since 2007 and will be replaced in that role by commercial real estate specialist Mark Bennett.

At the same time, Laurence Cobb has replaced Helen Garthwaite as head of construction.
