Exeter-headquartered Ashfords has appointed Andrew Betteridge as managing partner of its Bristol office.
Betteridge replaces senior partner Garry Mackay, who will now be responsible for implementing a firmwide growth strategy.
“We recognised as a board that we need to have more control over the consistency of our approach,” Betteridge explained, adding: “We’re investing in growth, we’ve got six to 12 months to move forward as a firm.”
Ashfords also appointed two partners to the Bristol office. Simon Staples joins the corporate team from Veale Wasbrough and Andrew Worley joins the commercial property team from LHP Law.
