New Canada Bar rule

The Law Society of Upper Canada, the country's largest Bar association, has passed a new practice rule which obliges lawyers to advise clients undertaking conveyancing work of all the options available to them to protect their interest in property, including the availability of title insurance. The practice rule was introduced at the behest of the Ontario Insurance Commission.
