South East firm ASB Law has appointed corporate lawyer Russell Bell as its new senior partner, after Ray Harris completed his term at the end of April.
Symbolically, Bell is a corporate lawyer, whereas Harris is a private client specialist.
Bell, who has been at the firm for thirty years and who also had a stint as managing partner, said he was looking forward to playing his part in achieving further significant growth for the firm.
He said: "Our aim is to position ASB law as the largest law firm in the region."
His predecessor Harris was integral in the merger of Argles & Court, Stoneham and Burstows, which joined forces in 1999 to form ASB.
Harris will continue as head of the firms wills, trust and probate department.
