Italian law firm NCTM Studio Legale Associato has strengthened its presence in China and East Asia.
The firm has appointed Hermes Pazzaglini as a salaried partner to build its operation in Shanghai.
A fluent Mandarin speaker, Pazzaglini has worked in Asia for the past 18 years, previously for Baker & McKenzie, Barlow Lyde & Gilbert and, most recently, as a senior associate at Allen & Overy in Shanghai.
“Despite the uncertain economic climate there’s a significant demand from our clients for support in China and other East Asian markets,” said Paolo Montironi, senior partner at NCTM.
