NCP to fight injury claim

A personal injury action against National Car Parks (NCP) is heading for the High Court. In the case, NCP is being sued by James Hayman, who was seriously injured when he fell over a wall at a multi-storey car park at Margate, Kent, in 1995. At the time of the accident he was trying to catch a basketball which had been thrown by his girlfriend. But the outcome was that he fell 15ft. Hayman claims that the injuries to his back and arm that he received in the accident have brought an end to his work as a self-employed car windscreen repairer. He claims that, but for the accident, he had the prospects of earning u465,632 during his working career. He is represented in the litigation by Thomson Snell & Passmore, based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
