Dutch firm NautaDutilh has boosted its Luxembourg office with a new partner from Linklaters.
NautaDutilh has made corporate associate Jean-Marc Groelly a partner, along with Linklaters counsel Jean-Michel Schmit.
Pieter Elias, head of NautaDutilh Avocats Luxembourg, said that the new appointments were “a reflection of the rapid expansion of the Luxembourg office”.
Jean-Michel Schmit was counsel at Linklaters but joins NautaDutilh as a partner after 11 years with the UK firm. His practice focuses on international M&A transactions and private equity deals.
Groelly specialises in international tax law and advises companies on the tax aspects of structured finance and M&A transactions as well as private equity and real estate deals.
Groelly joined NautaDutilh in 2006 from Clifford Chance and is promoted to partner.
