Irwin Mitchell senior partner Michael Napier has resigned from the Legal Services Board (LSB) after the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) reopened an investigation into him and the firm. Irwin Mitchell had failed in its attempts to prevent satirical magazine Private Eye from publishing details of the complaint. The Ministry of Justice said last Thursday (28 May) that Napier would resign from the LSB while he concentrates on the SRA investigation.
