Nabarros woos the kids with Willy Wonka plan

Nabarro Nathanson has launched a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-style competition as part of its latest grad-uate recruitment campaign.

The graduate recruitment team is handing out chocolate bars at university law fairs. Around 25 of the 1,000 bars contain a golden ticket, which can be exchanged for an open day at Nabarros’ London office.

Nabarros’ graduate resources manager Jane Drew said: “The graduate recruitment team had a brain-storming session and kept coming back to the idea of chocolate.

“We had one excited student who found one of the tickets. She came back to our stall to tell us that she’d never won anything in her life.”

Seven tickets have been found so far.

This year, competition for freebies was fiercer than ever, with firms ditching pens and Post-its for flash drives (Shearman & Sterling) and cameras (Weil Gotshal & Manges).
