Nabarro Nathanson has made two head of department lateral hires, bolstering its construction and finance practices.
Travers Smith head of construction Matthew Jones and Kilpatrick Stockton London finance head Nina Hoque are both set to join Nabarros.
Jones’ recruitment takes the firm’s construction and engineering group to eight partners and 17 fee earners, based in London and Sheffield.
Hoque specialised in infrastructure project finance and PFI/PPP projects, and will work with the firm’s projects group.
Nabarros senior partner Simon Johnston said: “Matthew and Nina bring first class expertise to areas we are committed to growing. Both are joining already strong departments where the potential exists to create considerable synergies with our existing clients and to take us into exciting new areas of work and an expanded client base.”
Kilpatrick has significantly downsized its London operation during the past year, as first revealed on www.thelawyer.com (September 21).
