Nabarro's revenues flat for first half" />Nabarro has posted flat growth for the first six months of 2008-09, bringing in £64m in revenues.
The practices that saw the most activity over the first half were restructuring and insolvency, financial services and commercial litigation while the greatest slowdown has been in transactional work in the core real estate and corporate practices.
Senior partner Simon Johnston (pictured) said: "We see it as a good result to be coming in at the same point as last year given where the markets have been and that we do have a large transactional practice in real estate and corporate.
"Because we're predominantly domestic and we don't have an uptick from overseas offices we are pleased with the level of billing at the half year."
Looking ahead to the remainder of the year, Johnston said: "The next six months obviously are key and are going to be determined by the economy and whether there's an upturn in transactional work.
"Next year we can hopefully build up in projects and infrastructure, in areas like waste and education, where we've had some good success recently."
